Privacy policy

The short version of what we do with your data when you join the waitlist or apply for a studio. It's short because we don't do much with it.
Who's responsible
The data controller is Welcome Abundance Unipessoal, Lda, NIF 518840824, registered at Edif. Atrium Saldanha, Pça Duque de Saldanha, nº 1, 2º andar, 1050-094 Lisboa. For anything to do with your data, write to contact@leospawradise.com or message us on WhatsApp.
What we store
When you join the dog owner waitlist or apply for a groomer studio, we store:
- which list you joined (dog owner or groomer);
- your name;
- for dog owners: your dog's name (up to three dogs) and size;
- your email address, your phone number, or both;
- for dog owners: what you're interested in; for groomers: how you currently work and, if you gave one, your Instagram or portfolio link;
- how you heard about us, in your own words if you picked ‘Other’;
- the language you chose;
- which link brought you to the site (the
srcand UTM parameters in the link, if any) and the page you sent the form from, without any query string; - the date and time of your consent, the version of the consent text you ticked and the language you saw it in;
- a keyed, irreversible hash of your IP address, and your browser's identification string (user agent); both are used only to block spam and abuse.
What we use it for
To write to you about the opening, the Pawty and the offers if you're a dog owner, or about the studios if you're a groomer, in your language. And to see, in aggregate, which links and channels bring people in. Nothing else. We don't sell or pass your data to anyone.
Legal basis
Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you tick the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing contact@leospawradise.com or messaging us on WhatsApp. Once we start sending emails, each one will also carry an unsubscribe link. Withdrawing doesn't affect anything done before.
How long we keep it
Until 12 months after we open, or until you withdraw your consent or ask us to delete your data, whichever comes first. The anti-spam counters are deleted within 24 hours.
Who processes it for us
Two providers, and only these:
- Cloudflare, for hosting the site and storing the list. The list lives in a database in EU data centres; the short-lived anti-spam counters (hashes only, deleted within 24 hours) pass through Cloudflare's global network under the EU standard contractual clauses.
- Google Workspace, for sending you email, under the EU standard contractual clauses.
If you write to us on WhatsApp, that conversation also goes through WhatsApp (Meta), under WhatsApp's own terms.
Cookies
None. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no third-party scripts. The site keeps two things in your browser's localStorage: the language you picked, and the parameters of the link that brought you here, so the form can record them even if you look around first. Neither leaves your browser until you send a form, and neither identifies you. That's why there's no cookie banner.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, take it with you (portability), object to processing, and withdraw your consent. One email to contact@leospawradise.com or one WhatsApp message is enough; we reply within a month. If you think we've handled your data badly, you can complain to the Portuguese supervisory authority, the CNPD, at cnpd.pt. We'd rather you talked to us first.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the change matters to you, we'll tell you by email.
